IONS Circle Member Trip
January 30-February 14, 2009
Join IONS Circle members on a journey to the ancient land of India
at this time of global shift and transformation. This is a special
opportunity to travel with other like minded IONS members. As we
travel we will share in conversation, pondering the larger questions
of life and the universe, and open ourselves to the archetypes of
Hinduism and Budhism. Our Indian leader is Shantum Seth,
charismatic teacher and well known guide, who will bridge the
cultures and through his contacts has arranged for us to meet with
living masters and teachers along the way. We will be guests at
traditional ashrams, holy sites and extraordinary ancient temples,
including the 7th century Mahabalipuram temples along the sea
shore near Chennai which are carved from monolith rocks. Download a printable registration form.

traditions of the shaman of the high mountains that remain active even after centuries of conquest and industrialization. Led by José Luis Herrera, internationally respected naturalist, expedition leader, and teacher of Peruvian indigenous wisdom. Download a printable registration form.

Ancient land of History, Mystery, and Mystics
November, 2010
Ethiopia, one of the most interesting and exciting
countries in the world, full of history, intrigue,
mysticism and mystery. The Ethiopians are a people of extraordinary grace, beauty, strength, resilience
and intelligence with spiritual traditions and a sense of cultural and personal dignity which have remained intact through the centuries. We explore the ancient sacred traditions of
Coptic Christianity that predate Western
society by centuries, and still hold to and
incorporates centuries old Jewish customs
and beliefs. (Many say that Ethiopia is the
site of the Garden of Eden). As a group,
we will visit various programs and
prospective CCJF projects that promote
self reliance for women. We will spend
time with the women as advocates and
listen to their stories as we share our own. Led by Worku Sharew and Carole Angermeir. Limited to 15 persons. Download a printable registration form. |
